Hitachi Vantara set out to reimagine their office at Tower B, Level 6, 26 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park, NSW, by reducing their footprint from 2,000 sqm to a streamlined and agile 900 sqm. Amicus envisioned a vibrant and innovative workspace that would embody Hitachi’s core values of Harmony, Sincerity, and Pioneering Spirit. The goal was to create a dynamic environment that would inspire employees, energise collaboration, and showcase Hitachi’s identity as a leading technology innovator.
The design brought Hitachi’s vision of One Hitachi to life by creating a cohesive and connected workspace. A vibrant central collaboration hub was established to encourage adaptability and teamwork. Meeting rooms, casual seating, and flexible spaces were carefully arranged to foster synergy and enhance productivity. Hitachi’s brand values were infused into the design with bold, purposeful finishes, including Inspire Red to symbolise passion and Future Blue to represent innovation. Sustainability was prioritised throughout, with existing elements repurposed wherever possible. The front-of-house area was redesigned to create a welcoming and open environment, seamlessly integrating reception and breakout spaces to connect client-facing and internal teams.
Hitachi Sydney now thrives in a modern and forward-thinking workspace that perfectly balances style, functionality, and sustainability. The design reflects Hitachi’s mission and values, reinforcing the strong identity of One Hitachi through collaborative hubs and striking colour choices. With a desk-sharing model and adaptable layouts, the office maximises efficiency while inspiring creativity, driving innovation, and fostering a vibrant sense of community among employees.
